2026, In/Human Infrastructures | Symposium, Exhibition & Talk

In/Human Infrastructures was a three-day symposium, exhibition and screening programme organised by Xeno Futurism and Gossamer Fog at Alt_R in Deptford, London, from 22 to 24 May 2026. Developed around Xeno Futurism’s second issue, Technologies of Domination, it brought artists, theorists and technologists together to examine the networked and computational systems shaping contemporary life, including surveillance, platform capitalism, machine learning and artificial intelligence. The daytime exhibition and screenings ran alongside evening talks and performances, creating a shared space to consider how these infrastructures might be contested or repurposed.

Curated by Elliott Higgs with Xeno Futurism. Organised by Xeno Futurism and Gossamer Fog. Hosted at Alt_R, Deptford.

PARHAM GHALAMDAR — EXHIBITION AND TALK

Ghalamdar’s talk was later compressed and edited into an essay for Xeno Futurism: “Kenotaphion of the War Image: Gender, Hyperstition, and Mirror Propaganda in the 12-Day War Image Circuit.” The published text develops the presentation’s questions about gender, propaganda and the unstable status of images in wartime.
